  • Views up on views! How beautiful! From hills / mountains to flat land. Streams, Forrest’s, rivers and a Reservoir. We drove through a lot of the area this weekend and although it was a bit rainy and misty it was still so gorgeous. There was so much beauty in every spot. And so many sheep too that just strut their stuff in front of your cars so be careful. Over all gorgeous, felt so lovely to be there.

  • Love the Black Mountains. Second time visiting. Even though wet, cloudy and misty, some great views, atmospheric scenery and again enjoyable walks. Love it.

  • Fabulous but challenging walk around the Horseshoe. 14 mile circular walk taking in 5 summits. Weather kept good. Nice to see all the car parks free of charge and unlike yesterday's Waterfalls walk, no rubbish left on the trails.

  • Can get busy at weekend and an early start will ensure a parking space. Did 11 mile "horseshoe" circular starting with Pen-y-Fan ascent. Stunning views on a clear day. Go prepared as the weather dictates, there's nothing up there, not even a phone signal so download your maps in advance. 11 miles / 7 hours / 4133' ascent / max elevation 2887'
