  • This place is a wonderland with serene beauty. It's a lush meadow with red grass but you don't see a single tree around. One aspect of its beauty is its still pretty much untouched and very natural with no paved roads. The scenery is breathtaking, highly recommended for nature lovers and people who enjoy calm places. It's very high altitude so you might get short of breath if you exert. It's also usually cold all through the year with strong winds.I hope the Pakistani government ensures that this place stays like this

  • By far my absolute favorite place in the northern areas of Pakistan. I have not come across anywhere that's this beautiful and untouched by humanity. I hope the Pakistani government ensures that this place stays like this. Considering I've been here twice with once being in the winter. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place at least once (preferably May or early June). It is truly the land of giants!

  • When I entered Deosai plains for the first time, the beauty just blew my mind. Raw and pure form of nature. I fell in love and awe of Deosai and still am unable to find a place more praiseworthy. Literally the most beautiful place in Pakistan. I have been to Deosai in almost all seasons and each season has its own magic. Strongly Recommended. Try to do camping there and see the colors of universe, you may not have experienced before.

  • My goodness what an absolute beautiful place. This was my second trip to Deosai. I visited a couple of years ago during spring time and it was heavenly but I didn't realize that in each season the beauty of deosai changes in its own way. Autumn was beautiful there, with orange, yellow and reds all around. We camped at the Glamp site at deosai which is the highest Glamp site in the world and it was a wonderful experience. The glamps were very cosy and warm. The nights do get extremely cold this time of the year (Sept), temperature drops to -4 and you cannot step outside in the night without proper coverups. The only down side would be that the Glamp doesn't come with attached bathrooms so if you have to use the toilet at night goodluck to you because the water literally freezes in the pipes lol. The roads are not the best so be prepared for a bumpy ride, But the views make you forget about everything. We booked the most expensive Glamp they had available which costed us 16000rs for one night which included breakfast. Surprisingly internet was also available at a separate cost of 500rs per day (they give you a username and password) The glamps are closed now due to the weather being too cold. But we managed to catch it end of September before they closed down. Overall I highly recommend glamping if you're into adventure. If you're lucky you will also spot some cute marmots which are a local breed of small little animals and also Yaks, and if you're very lucky then brown bears (which we heard visited our camp site to search for food while we were asleep at night, still can't believe I missed it)

  • Due to its stunning views I have been here several times. Deosai is located at an altitude of around 14000 ft from sea level. A fresh environment with more than thousand types of flowers. When you are here in deosai it looks like that the distance between you and sky is just an arm distance. Just 50 minutes drive from skardu city. A clear view of milky way can be witnessed at night.
