English Translation
Schöntal, OT Bieringen:
Stone bars / harvest stone bars on valley slopes are typically found where the rocks of the Upper Muschelkalks are present. For reclamation and during the agricultural processing of the slope areas, the frost-cracked, still edgy chunks of stone have been read out by hand and piled up on these ramparts lying in the fall line. The stone bars are by their loose structure ideal and valuable habitats or retreats for a variety of microorganisms.
