Beautiful beach! The view of the waves breaking on the pier is amazing. Definitely worth the trip. Parking was a pain though. Go early
Surf City U.S.A Huntington Beach beach! The area is kept clean, has lots of trash containers, good lifeguard coverage, restrooms and parking. It’s possible to walk along the beach to the pier for views, the Oceanfront Walk and Main Street with shops and restaurants and vice versa. While the paid parking is more convenient, the ‘lots can get jammed up at times, especially during special events, and on weekends and holidays. So as an option when arriving after mid-morning, I’ve avoided that and residential street parked for free to the east, a few blocks over, beyond the metered parking. Then hoofing and hauling it is the only price to pay!
Free performances and great vibes. It is a windy but very nice beach! There are a lot of gift shops and stores by the beach. It is worth the visit.
Love hunnington beach! It's a must every year we visit SoCal, parking usually isn't too bad and the massive waves keep the kids busy all day. Also plenty of places to eat within a 10 minute walk off the beach.
Just in the middle of this little mini vacation to Huntington Beach but just WOW!!!... Staying at the Hyatt for a few days and this place rocks it even at 50% capacity, that's a helluva silver lining for such awful times in this world. This place is a beautiful reminder of what makes California so special and if you ever have the opportunity, you should certainly consider this location in your lifetime........
