Ko Olina Beach Park

Ko Olina Beach Park is a public park on the west side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii within the Ko Olina Resort Community, part of the City and County of Honolulu. Located at the end of several high-end vacation resorts, the park is situated between the man made lagoon and the Ko Olina Marina.
The park's white-sand lagoon is one of four in the 640-acre Ko Olina Resort. The water is well protected by the reef, relatively shallow and the beach bordered by a broad, grassy lawn.

  • Amazingly beautiful - we were lucky to be staying close it for a few days and I could go down for walks and runs along it. It has good public parking and access as well. Good spot for a picnic or a day out with friends / family - enough to keep everyone entertained. A lot of folks bring their gear for snorkeling, paddle boarding or just lazing in the water.

  • Beautiful beach. Free parking available. Restroom facilities on site. Water is calm and great for children! Good for snorkeling because of calm water. We even saw a sea turtle while we were there. Close to many resorts, shopping, and dining.

  • Absolutely awesome place to experience the ocean in a protected cove in the many lagoons nearby. Getting to the tip of the beach you can see waves rolling in and enjoy the beautiful sunset with the shallow reef in the backdrop.

  • The lagoon is an amazing spot to swim and relax. It's such a wonderful beach that you'll find more kids around, but it wasn't so busy that they were obnoxious and it's kinda great to seeing them have fun. The area surrounding the lagoon is so picturesque it hardly feels real. An amazing spot!

  • Very nice men made lagoons, park at lagoon 4 for free, if there is a big big one park at marina for the payment, but line moves fairly fast. Clean water with some snorkeling opportunities, we saw different fishes. Not much of entertainment or food around, so bring water and snacks yourself. I also saw a weasel near the parking and took a picture of it!

  • Nice surroundings. Your landscaping crews needs to be there earlier before you open the lagoons to the public. We got there at Lagoon 4 at about 6:45 am, and the grounds still have tree branches, leaves and bits of trash on the walkways that haven't been cleaned up yet. Poor Maintenance scheduling for the upkeep.
