Average beach. Lots of trash (but what do you expect from NYC?), lifeguards aplenty, nice benches, access to bathrooms (very important iykyk!), foot washing stations are helpful as well.

Cool beach. Although located in a sketchy part of queens. Once u get on the beach its clean, good young fun crowd, pets allowed. Water is great.

clean beach. easy ferry ride to beach. long boardwalk. limited food options after labor day. toilets not well maintained.

The waves will definitely slap you around and rearrange your whole bathing suit. But it is a beautiful beach. The sand is super fine, the seashells are gorgeous and so much fun to look for. The bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned. The board walk is so clean, I walked barefoot on most of it. This beach holds a special place in my heart. Love it.

Lovely beach and beautiful. Perfect place to visit for the summer. There is a fast food joint near the beach and has got a good ambience.

Great beach in NYC. The ocean has lots of shells and seaweed so you might want to wear sandal not to hurt your feet. It’s relatively clean but get crowded easily. Avoid the area near the train station.

Beautiful and clean beach....u can spend hour n hours there.....
