Statue of Diogenes It is a sculpture located in the city of Sinop. Diogenes is an Ancient Greek philosopher who was born in the city of Sinop in 412 BC. Heykel, Sinop Belediyesince 2006 yılında tamamlanarak, Sinop ile ana kara arasındaki kıstağın en dar olduğu noktada dikilmiştir. Heykel Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi öğretim üyesi Turan Baş tarafından yapılmıştır. Heykelin yüksekliği 5.5 metredir. Heykel, Diyojen'in elinde bir lamba ile dürüst adamı aramasını simgelemektedir.
